Barbara G. Schulman

Barbara Schulman, age 79, a resident of Wellington, FL, passed peacefully on Tuesday, February 28th, 2023. Born and raised in Hempstead, NY, she graduated from Hofstra University. After moving to Rockland County, NY to raise her family, she was active in local politics, President of the PTA and worked at the Rockland County Sheriff’s Department. She loved traveling and spending time at the beach with her husband and sons. She was a passionate sports mom watching her kids compete in various sports, and also an avid tennis player. She was a great baseball fan, loved gardening, her cats and watching her grandchildren grow up.
Beloved wife of Robert Schulman. Devoted mother of Steven and his wife Rachel, and Andrew and his wife Kristin. Loving grandmother of Ellie, Lily, Dylan and Emma.
The graveside funeral will take place at New Montefiore Cemetery in West Babylon, NY at 11am, Friday March 3rd. The family will receive their friends on Saturday, March 4th from 6pm – 9pm at the home of Steven and Rachel, 2200 North Central Road, #1K, in Fort Lee.
